Process
Five stages. Nothing decided on site that could have been decided on paper.
A predictable build is mostly a matter of sequence — settling every question at the cheapest possible moment. This is the order we work in, on every project, regardless of size.

Consultation & brief
We walk the site, measure what is already there, and write down what you actually want from it — including the budget, which is a design constraint like any other rather than a conversation for later.
Deliverable — Measured site notes and a written brief

Design & drawings
Concept and plan options first, then the working set: sections, elevations, service routes and the joinery details that would otherwise be decided on site by whoever is holding the tool.

Estimate & agreement
An itemised estimate priced against those drawings, with specifications named line by line. Provisional sums are used only where you ask for them, and the programme is agreed in writing here.

Build & supervision
Execution against the approved set, with a named lead on site and the studio behind them. Anything that changes is drawn and quoted before it is built, so the final bill holds no surprises.

Handover & aftercare
Snagging, testing, cleaning and documentation. You receive the building along with the paperwork that explains it, and a defects window in which we come back rather than refer you elsewhere.

Programme durations depend on scope, approvals and site conditions. They are set per project and confirmed in writing at stage 03 — we do not quote a number of weeks before we have seen the site.
Whatever changes
Three things do not move.
The drawing set
One approved set governs the build. If it is not on the drawings, it is not on the invoice — and it is not on site either.
The point of contact
The same lead runs your project from stage 01 to stage 05. You never re-explain the brief to a new face.
The estimate
The agreed figure moves only through a variation you have seen, priced and approved in writing beforehand.
Stage 01
It starts with a site visit and a conversation.
Bring the plot details, a rough scope and whatever you have already collected — sketches, references, an approval drawing. We will tell you what is feasible before anyone signs anything.
